Ronnie Lee Matthews, 69, of Summerville, SC gained his heavenly wings Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC.
There will be a memorial service, date TBD.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kris Matthews, 3 children, Shane Cummings (Rachel) of Goldsboro, NC, Gene Cummings of Goldsboro, NC, Aimee Chavis (Mitchell) of Summerville, SC; 3 brothers, Jerry Matthews of Moncks Corner, SC, James Matthews (Lori) of Summerville, SC, and Kevin Matthews (Christine) of Summerville, SC; 2 sisters, Rita Widener of Aiken, SC and Lynn Montgomery (David) of Summerville, SC and sister in law Tammie Matthews; along with 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his grandparents Hilary and Katie Yarborough, Montrey and Alma Matthews; parents Legrand and Levone Matthews, brother Francis Matthews, brother in law Mike Widener, and granddaughter Khloe Cummings
