Rosa “Connie” Nava –Munoz, 73, of Caldwell, Idaho, passed on to be with the Lord, Friday, December 20, 2013. Rosa was born on November 8, 1940, in Pharr, Texas to Irenio and Isabel Nava. She worked for many years in food service for the McAllen School District. In 1992 she moved with her family to Caldwell, Idaho. Rosa is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jose, Four sons, Manuel, Mark, Mike and Mario, granddaughter, Michelle Munoz, and great granddaughter, Jasmine Marie Ortiz. Rosa is survived by her son, Martin Munoz and daughters, Marina Munoz (Florencio Esparza)and Melba (Jose) Rogel all of Caldwell. She was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 27 great- grandchildren and numerous amounts of children she cared for throughout the years. Rosa was a very loving and caring woman with strong family values. She was a God send to all who knew her. Although she is in a better place, she will be greatly missed. Rosa’s viewing will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, Her funeral service on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 1:00 PM Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
