Rosa Abeyta Vigil

Rosa Abeyta Vigil, age 91, passed away on November 30, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Rosa is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Vigil; sons, Higino Vigil and Paul Vigil; parents, Ambrosio and Delores Abeyta; brothers, Juan, Elias, and Tony; sisters, Domilita Ortiz, Eloisa Vigil, Teodora Romero and Matilda Gomez; Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Antonio and Higina Vigil and great-great-great-granddaughter, Ayva Archuleta. Rosa is survived by her loving children, Julia Gonzales (Frank), Leo Vigil (Patsy), Sylvia Gonzales (Alex), Mildred Vigil (Ignacio), Lawrence Vigil (Bonnie), Peter Vigil, Maria Dimas (George), George Vigil, Manuel Vigil, Anna Vigil (Mike Trujillo); sister-in-law, Sister Antonita Vigil; brother-in-law, Tony Vigil. 19 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-great-grandchildren. A total of 92 loving immediate family members. A very special nephew, Anthony Ayala and a very special friend, Theresa Sandoval. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will take place on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 8:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Taos, NM with interment to follow the Mass at Los Alamitos Cemetery. The Urn Bearer will be Richard Gonzales. Honorary Pallbearers are: Norman Vigil, Brian Vigil, Eric Martinez, Christopher Trujillo, Edward Martinez, and Mark Archuleta.
