July 29th, 1958 - December 19th, 2020
PARRILLO – Rosalie (nee Pirrone). Born and raised in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, NY. Attended Sacred Hearts of Jesus & Mary Elementary School (class of 1972) and attended St. Stephens High School (class of 1976). Graduate of Hunter College-Bellevue School of Nursing. Received Master’s of Nursing Science at SUNY-Brooklyn Health Care Center. Employed by Bellevue Hospital, United States Postal Office as Occupational Nurse then joined Metropolitan Home Healthcare Agency. After moving to Tampa in 1995, she worked at The Department of Veterans Affairs as a Certified Diabetes Educator. Rosalie was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Rosalie is predeceased by her parents, Frank A. & Antoinette Pirrone (nee Spinelli). Beloved mother of Olivia and Rebecca, Adored sister of Michael (Anne), Carmela Pirrone and, Frank Pirrone, cherished aunt of Gennarina Pirrone, Antoinette Amato (James), Catherine Starzman (Ron), and Lauren Pirrone, great aunt to Salvatore Brunetto, Grace, Annmarie, and Nichole Amato, Samantha and John Starzman and a friend to many. In lieu of flowers, The Pirrone and Parrillo family would appreciate a donation to “STAND UP to CANCER” in memory of Rosalie.
