Winchester, Kentucky Roscoe Rose, Jr., 73, passed away peacefully on June 10, at his home in Winchester, Kentucky.He was born November 20, 1941, to the late Roscoe Rose and Lucy Cain, in Paris, Kentucky. He was honored by the Commonwealth of Kentucky on April 28, 1992, as a Kentucky Colonel for community charity work. He was preceded in death by his father; mother; wife of 56 years, Lou Edna Clem Rose; and two brothers. He is survived by one sister, Mazie Caskey, of Paris, Kentucky; one brother; five sons, Timothy, Henry, and Robert of Florida; Darrell and Brian of Winchester; seven grandchildren, Crystal, Kelley, Darren, Chelsea, Courtney, Amber, and Ashley; eight great grandchildren which include Kinley Clem, Klara Rose, and Carter Holt, all of Winchester; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Information A memorial service in honor of Roscoe and Lou Rose will be held Saturday, June 27, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the El Bethel United Methodist Church at the Trapp Goff Corner Road. Light refreshments will be served.
