Rose Battisti

Our beloved mother Rose Battisti entered into Gods Kingdom on Dec. 23, 2022, She passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Rose was the daughter of Joseph and Maria (Salanitri) Garagozzo, born in Sicily, Italy on Aug.26, 1934. Rose moved to Ocala from Hollywood, Florida in 2004. She was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Rose was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by many loving family members including sons: Joe and wife Cindy, David and wife Tiffeny, six grandchildren: Michael, Scott, Brian, Kambri, Courtney and Jessica, two great grandchildren: Joshua and Leo, brother: Rosario, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in her passing by her husband of 55 years, Armand L. Battisti. Rose will be missed by everyone’s life she touched. A funeral mass will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala, Florida on Saturday, Jan. 21st at 8:30 am. A celebration of life gathering will be held afterwards with the family.
