Rose Marie "Cissy" Lake, 90, passed away peacefully January 16, 2015. She was born March 12, 1924 in Evanston, Illinois. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 62 years, William S. "Bill" Lake. They moved to Southern California in 1950. Following her husband's death she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. She is survived by siblings, Franny Anderson(Princeton, Ill.), Jimmy Borst(Phoenix, AZ), Bobby Borst(McHenry, Ill.), and Henry Borst(Roundhill, KY) ; children, Scott Lake(Diane), Tony Lake(Kathie), Sally Lake and Jeff Ockunzzi; grandchildren, Scott Lake(Laura), Terri Bartlett(Sam), Tricia Davis(Durell), Elizabeth Lake, and Rebecca Lake; 4 great-grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 West Sahara Avenue, Las Vegas. Burial will be at Ascension Cemetery, 24754 Trabuco Road, Lake Forest, California on Thursday, January 22 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in Cissy's memory may be made to St. Michael's Abbey, 19292 El Toro Road, Silverado, California 92676-9710 (949) 858-0222.
