NELSON, Rose Breault (Kellum) 94, of Tampa passed away May 12, 2017. Born in Fitchburg, MA, she moved to Tampa in 1953. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexandre Breault and Rose LeBlanc Breault; husband, John Geza Nelson; son, Alexander S. Kellum; brothers, Edgar, Albert, Felix, Raoul and Louis Breault; sister, Marie Proctor. She is survived by her daughter, Rose Kellum Llauget and husband Ron; grandsons, Michael and Alexander Llauget; step children, Col. Donald Kellum, USAF Ret, Nancy Kellum-McGriff, and Ann Croasdell; sisters, Doris Jones, Ada Tozer, and Yvonne Lord; longtime friend, June Libby. Rose worked to help others as Hillsborough County Legal Aid Lawyers Referral for 15 years and was co-owner of John's Ornamental Iron. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. First and foremost, she was a faith filled and devoted mother who said, "I have no regrets; I lived a long and happy life, I have one son and one daughter. I am satisfied." Let us carry on cherishing memories of how we were blessed by her. A Roman Catholic Funeral Mass with be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 5225 N. Himes Av. Tampa, 33614. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A gathering will follow at 12 p.m. at Higgins Hall, St. Thomas Room. Interment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Many thanks to Dr. Mauricio Bermudez and his caring team and Lifepath Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor may be made to Catholic Charities' Foundations of Life Pregnancy Center.
