Rosemary Perez

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Rosemary Perez. Rosemary, 69, passed away on August 17, 2021, after a long battle with lung disease with her daughters by her side. Rosemary was born July 16, 1952, to Santos & Carmen Preciado, in Ault, Colorado. She attended Ault schools. She married Martin Perez on February 12, 1970. He was the love of her life! She worked at Monfort of Colorado for 19 years. She enjoyed watching Lifetime & Hallmark movies, listening to Christian music, and reading her Bible. Her greatest passion was her love of God and family. Oh, how she loved family BBQ’s and get togethers! Rosemary is survived by her daughters, Melissa (Ruben Cervantes) Esquibel and Christina (David) Salazar; brothers Ray, Joe Jr. and Lee; sisters Margo, Angie, Terry, Lucy, Carmen and Cathy; grandchildren, Desiree, Percilla, Ronnie, Nevaeh, David. Great-grandchildren Izayah, Izabella, Ahraea, Mesiah and Amiyah. She raised her granddaughter Desiree Perez and great-grandchildren Izayah and Izabella Perez. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Proceeded in death by her parents, Santos & Carmen Preciado, husband Martin, siblings, Jimmy, Rudy, Maryann, and Josie. A Life Celebration will be held 11:00am Thursday, August 26, 2021, at the Greeley/Evans Moose Lodge, 3456 11th Ave, Evans, CO 80620. A reception will immediately follow.
