Rosemary W. Vollbrecht
November 30th, 1945 - July 5th, 2019
"Granby - Rosemary A. (Williams) Vollbrecht, 73, died on July 5, 2019. Born November 30, 1945 in Holyoke, MA, daughter of Francis and Rose (Rys) Williams. She was raised in Holyoke and has lived in Granby since 1970. Rosemary was a licensed practical nurse and she received her license while working at the Belchertown State School. She worked in the field of nursing for 35 years at many local nursing homes. Rosemary was a animal lover, but she held a special place in her heart for her dogs and horses. She will be deeply missed by husband, Arthur H. Vollbrecht of Granby and two children, Karl Vollbrecht of Chicopee and Kandace Vollbrecht of Granby. She also leaves her precious granddaughter Rosalynn Vollbrecht. and two brothers Gerald Williams of Granby and Dennis Williams of Georgia. A calling hour will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2019, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the West Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Dakin Humane Society."
