Ross Miller Jr.

Ross Miller Jr. went to be with his Heavenly Father on January, 16th, 2014.He was born April 6th, 1929, in Marietta, Ohio, the loving son of Ross Miller and Ruth Jackson Miller. Ross grew up in West Virginia, he attended Washington Irving High School, and very active in clubs, and sports programs. After high-school, he served in the United States Air Force, during the Korean War, and was honorably discharged. During Ross's time of service, he married Miss Sarah Costner, the love of his life, and wife of 61 years. After he was discharged from the military, Ross and Sarah returned to Charlotte, where Ross attended Kings Business College, and studied Accounting. After he completed his degree, Ross was an accountant, and served many Charlotte companies during his 40 years of work. He was very active in his Church, where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Miller's survivors are his wife, Mrs. Sarah Costner Miller, son, Rick Miller, granddaughter Ashley Miller, and grandson Joshua Miller, as well as many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Doug Miller, Bill Kemper, and sister Peggy Kemper. A Memorial service will be held at Huntersville Oaks, Thursday, January 23rd, 2014, at 3:00pm.
