Of Wheat Ridge, CO, passed on December 9, 2013. Born November 3, 1952 in Chicago, she attended Omaha Central High School, then earned her BFA in Music and Education from University of Nebraska Omaha. Currently, she was President of Colorado World Organization of China Painters. She is preceded in death by father Frank Gilmore, and stepbrother Jeffrey A. Chambers. Survived by her beloved son Parker Morris Newman; her husband of 41 years, Mark S. Newman; mother Marilynn Chambers; brother Doug (Alyson) Gilmore, stepbrother Jim Chambers; nephew Griffin Gilmore, nieces Bailey and Kiley Gilmore. Service Thursday December 12, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Wheat Ridge Rec Center, 4005 Kipling Street, Wheat Ridge CO 80003 In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice.
