Roy L. "Catfish" Clark
September 24th, 1940 - June 11th, 2016
Frankfort, KY Roy Lee "Catfish" Clark, husband of Barbara Doolin Clark, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016. Born in Georgetown, KY on September 24, 1940 to the late William Clark and Mary Catherine Crutchfield Clark. Roy was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War. He was retired from Kuhlman Electric, and was a Woodford County Volunteer Firefighter for 20 years. After retirement he was a courier of medicine for Hospice patients, for many years in Fayette County and Jessamine County. In addition to his wife of 48 years, Roy is survived by his sister Clara (Howard) Peyton, Owensboro; his brothers Joseph Andrew (Judy) Clark, Versailles; Bobby Clark, Lexington; several Nieces and Nephews; and his beloved Fur Babies, Tammy Jo and Shelley. He was preceded in death by his brothers James Olsen Clark and Earl Thomas Clark. Funeral Information A memorial service will be held 12:00 pm, Friday, June 17, 2016 at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church. Rev. Todd Lester will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the start of service Friday at the church.
