Roy Edwards Long time Tucson resident Roy Edwards passed away May 21, 2010 from complications of COPD. He was 85 years old. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Clara; children, Danny (Ethel), Tim (Dyanne) and Debra (Pete); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a large extended family, many friends and his faithful cattle dog, Pinky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Eugene and Mable Gertrude Edwards; brother, Eugene Edwards; and son, Randy Edwards. Roy was born October 30, 1924 in the ranching community of Roy, New Mexico. After serving in the US Navy on a destroyer during the invasion of Pearl Harbor he moved to Tucson for health reasons. During his life he was a rancher, state livestock inspector, semi driver, teamster and equipment supplier for the film industry. He was adventurous, fun and always generous. We were blessed to have had him and we will miss him deeply.
