October 20th, 1937 - February 12th, 2018
Roy Gayle Tackett, 80, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018. He was born in Stamping Ground on October 20, 1937 to the late Roy and Ethel Hazlet Tackett. He worked as a carpenter for Coolant Towers Erectors. He is survived by his daughter, Paula (Roberto) Adan, Frankfort; his sister, Geneva Wood, Frankfort; his brother, Don Tackett, Stamping Ground; his grandchildren, Tim (Sherry) Quinn, Brandon (Amber) Singleton, Carmen Adam, and Shannon (Randall) Hall; and his 4 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Conway Tackett. A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at First Assembly of God. Pastor Robert Baker will officiate. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
