Roylin Lacy

Mr. Roylin Lacy, age 64 of Midway, Ky., born on July 5, 1959 in Frankfort, Ky and departed this life on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Frankfort Regional Hospital. Roylin was preceded in death by his dad Roylin Lacy. He is survived by his mother: Wanda (Mayes) Karsner, his step father: Rev. Bob Karsners;, his beloved wife of 24 years Melisa Lacy, his children: David Lacy, Roylin Lacy, James Lacy (Beth), Chris Lacy (Danielle), Eric Lacy (Crystal) Brandy Tincher (Jesse), Sherry Smith, Elizabeth Goodlett, Angelina Dees, Gerald Dees,; sisters: Vicky Rogers, Linda Cummins, Sue Mayes (Dale), Brenda Moore, Wanda Dean (Glenn), Debbie Taylor (Dave), Sandra Karsner (Tommy), 6 grandsons with another grandchild on the way, 1 great-granddaughter and a great- grandchild on the way. Roylin also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and friends who all mourn his passing. Roylin has been co-owner of Melisa's Family Diner in Frankfort, Ky with his beloved wife Melisa since February 2, 2019. He loved fishing, traveling, was a jack of all trades and loved collecting things. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 11-1 p.m. at the Clark Legacy Center chapel in Frankfort, Ky. Funeral Services will also be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Clark Legacy Center. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort Ky. Clark Legacy Center is honored to be handling all arrangements for Mr. Roylin Lacy.
