Ruben Goldstein
November 15th, 1927 - July 27th, 2014
Ruben Goldstein, age 86, a 21 year resident of Las Vegas and Henderson, passed away July 27, 2014. Ruben was born November 15, 1927 in Los Angeles CA to the late Morris and the late Goldie (Katz) Goldstein. He married his high school sweetheart, Rita, in 1947 and were married 65 years, until her death in 2012. Ruben served in the Army during World War II. He had a butcher shop in Los Angeles. Ruben was a Mason. He loved to bowl and was in several bowling leagues over the years. Ruben is survived by children Robert (Judith) Goldstein of Las Vegas; Michael (Pamela) Goldstein of Bell Canyon CA and Larry (Hannah) Goldstein of Mclean VA; grandchildren Jared (Nicki) Goldstein, Zachary Goldstein, Sam Goldstein, Bryan Goldstein, Michelle Goldstein, Joseph Goldstein, Jacob Goldstein, Danielle Goldstein and John Goldstein; and great grandson Jackson Goldstein. The funeral will be held at 10:40 am on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive in Boulder City, NV. Contributions in Ruben's memory may be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice, www.nah.org.
