Ruben Gutierrez

Ruben Gutierrez age 54, of Albuquerque went with our Lord on June 9, 2016. Ruben was born in Santa Fe to Toby Gutierrez and Mary Socorro Gurule on March 1, 1962. He worked as a painter for many years and was well known to always help those in need. Ruben was preceded in death by Mary Socorro Gurule, Stella Lopez, Toby Gutierrez, and Zachariah Gallegos. He is survived by Josephine Gutierrez, Juan Gutierrez, Roman Trujillo, Janet Lopez, Annette Gomez, Roberta Lopez, Charles Lopez, Tanya Lopez, Mabel Baca, Tomas Peters, Edward Peters, Hope Kirk, Lesha Perea, Sincere Bustillos; twelve step-grandchildren that he loved very much; and great-granddaughter, Zevah Gallegos and another on the way. All services will be held at the Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque beginning with a viewing on Monday June 13, 2016 at 6:30 PM. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday June 14, 2016 at 10:00 AM, with Pastor Esteban Renteria officiating. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery & Mausoleum, 7999 Wyoming NE. Pallbearers will be Tomas Peters, Jerry Beize, Adrian Gutierrez, Jesus Perez, Michael Lopez, Freddy Gutierrez. Memorials may be given to El Cerro Mission Baptist Church, 243 El Cerro Mission Rd.
