Rubin "R.J." James Caulder

Obituary for Rubin James Caulder Rubin James Caulder “R.J.”,75, of Lake City, South Carolina passed away of natural causes August 30, 2019 at Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina. He was born April 6, 1944 in Lake City, South Carolina to James and Desdie (Parrott) Caulder. Mr. Caulder graduated from Lake City High School in 1963. In the final years of his life, Mr. Caulder was blessed to have been cared for by friend, devoted caregiver, and fellow veteran, Clay McKenzie of Lake City, SC. He also enjoyed the company of the members of The Office Social Club in Lake City, South Carolina. Rubin is survived by his daughter, Robin Polcari, and a son, Jay Caulder. He was preceded in death by his sister, Vista. Graveside services will be held at Florence National Cemetery, 803 E National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC 29506, on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 9:00 AM with Military honors being rendered. In lieu of flowers, The family asks that a contribution be made in Rubin Caulder's name, to the Veterans Administration.
