Ruby G. Raborn

Mrs. Ruby G. Raborn, 91, of Haines City, died on Friday, January 6, 2017, in Sebring, Florida. She was born on January 20, 1925 in Crenshaw County, Alabama to John and Alice Pollard and was a resident of Haines City since 1950.She was a retired citrus packer and grader for Holly Hill, Dundee, Waverly, and Haines City Growers. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Raborn is survived by her sons Billy D. Raborn of Haines City and Braxton C. Raborn and wife Kathy of Arcadia, grandchildren; Kay, Robert, Crystal, Carmen, Felicia, Tonya, Frank, Randy, and Kevin, several great-grandchildren, and a brother Jack Pollard of Crenshaw County. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Guy Raborn in 1977, a son Bobby C. Raborn, and a granddaughter Vickie. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at the Haines City Chapel of Oak Ridge Funeral Care. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time.
