Flahiff Funeral Chapels & Crematory-Caldwell
Rudi Scheffner
July 15th, 1953 - May 4th, 2013
Rudi Scheffner, 59, of Greenleaf passed away at home on May 4th after a fearless fight against cancer. Rudi was a strong and stubborn Scheffner, just like his father and just like his sons. He wouldn’t have cared that people knew of his passing, but that’s because he didn’t realize the impact he made in so many lives. Rudi was a loving husband, son, brother, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife Barbara at home; his father Willi of Greenleaf; his sister Ursela Crews of Hutchinson, Kansas; his sons Shane of Boise, Dustin of Gooding and stepsons David Johnson of Lake City, Florida and Randy Johnson of Ontario, OR; and his grandchildren Dravyn, Jadyn, Madison, Ethan and Obediah. Let it be known that Rudi’s intent for his grandchildren was to spoil them with candy and carnivals, and it will be so. Rudi was an incredible man and he will surely be missed by all his family and friends. The golf courses and the fish will fear no man as they did Rudi. There will be a gathering of family and friends at Orphan Annie’s, 801 Everett St, Caldwell, ID (455-2660) on June 8th, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Cheers to a life well lived! Family asks in lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to St. Luke’s Hospice 325 W. Idaho St. Boise, ID 83702 (208) 381-2721. A special thank you to Marta and Katherine. Condolences can be given online at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com. Service Information
