Rudy was born in the Village of Agua Fria in Santa Fe on July 8, 1950, to Jimmy and Connie Prada. Rudy is survived by his mother Connie, four brothers and six sisters. Rudy was one of twelve children and the first to be born. Rudy graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1969. In 1970, Rudy enlisted in the Navy and retired twenty years later. Rudy then went to work for the State of New Mexico at General Services Division, Risk Management Bureau from which he retired as well. Now that Rudy was retired, he was willing to help and give a helping hand to anyone that would ask him for help. Rudy volunteered and helped at San Isidro Parish with the San Martin De Porres Ministry to distribute food for the people in need. Rudy like to play cards and seemed to have good luck, because most of the time he would always win. Farewell Memories MOM: Rudy was my first-born son. He was a very handsome baby. When he turned 7 years old, he got to ride a big horse and was not scared. He would laugh instead of crying. When he started the first grade, the teacher asked him, "What is your dad's name?" He answered, "Cuñado". It was because everyone in the family called him Cuñado. So, I said, "Mi Hito, his name is Jimmy". Rudy lived with me all his life. He would make me breakfast, clean the house, wash and wax floors. He would also make salsa for a lot of people. Rest in Peace, with all my Love. I will miss him dearly. Love you, Mom. Nena: My brother Rudy and I were only ten months apart. Growing up we did everything together, starting from grade school and all the way through high school. I was his little sister and always helped him with his homework in school. Rudy and I graduated together. Through life Rudy helped many people and I always heard good things. Rudy always was a comedian with people. We as a family are going to miss your joking around and helpfulness to others. You never forgot anyone's birthday. I love you brother; may the angels carry you through the gates of heaven to be with our Lord. Until we meet again. May you rest in peace. Louana: He loved to play cards called rats ass and was damn good at it. He loved making salsa and giving to family and friends. Also, he helped anyone he could. Gonna miss you. David: Brother Rudy, my older brother always respected the things I would say to him especially the little things like helping others when I couldn't be there, always saying something stupid to make someone change their minds about what they wanted to do. We drank together, laughed together, chased a few women together. I'm going to miss you. Rudy, you will always be in my heart. Mel: Rudy held so many roles for our family. He was our personal sec
