Rudy J. Masi, Jr, 43, of St, Petersburg, passed away on April 25 in St. Petersburg. Visitation will be 6-8:30pm, Friday, April 28, 2017 at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home 7820 38th Ave North, St. Petersburg, FL. A Funeral Mass Service will be held 12:30pm, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Blessed Sacrament Church 11501 66th Ave North, Seminole, FL with the Reverend Rick Pilger, officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery 5233 119th Ave N, Clearwater, FL. A Celebration of Rudy J's life will be held immediately following the burial at St. Petersburg Elks Lodge #1224 located at 2675 66th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL. Rudy Jr. was born in St. Petersburg to Rudy Masi, Sr. & Becky Steinberg Masi on June 21, 1973. Rudy Jr. was an entrepreneur setting up and running a successful boat cleaning and taxi detailing business while still in high school. He also had a construction re-modeling, design business at one time doing repairs for the City of St. Petersburg. Rudy Jr. had a flair for modeling and acting which caused him to move to NYC. Over the years he was the model for Kash & Karry grocery chain, cover on the front page of the NYC phone book, held roles in several films and television shows, and his photo appeared on NYC transportation busses. Rudy Jr. is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Janet Steinberg and his paternal grandparents Rudolph & Isabel Masi. Rudy Jr, is survived by his parents Rudy Sr, and Becky McNeel, his step-mother Dolly Masi, and step-father Dr. Brantley McNeel, Half-Sister Stephanie McNeel, Grandfather Augie Steinberg, Uncles - Dr. Paul DeWitt, Danny Emond, Danny Masi, Rick Masi, Steve Masi,and Steve Steinberg , Aunts -Patty DeWitt, Tammy Emond, Casey Masi, Deseray Masi, Gale Masi, Flo Steinberg, Cousins - Kim Areias, Matthew Masi, Michael Masi, Rance Masi, Richie Masi, Ryan Masi, Kevin Viebrock, Nathan Dunham, Shelly Sapp, Chelsea & Ashlee Steinberg, Nephew Rey Garcia, Great Uncle Chico, Great Uncle Georgie, and Great Aunt Celeste. Pallbearers will be Matthew Masi, Michael Masi, Rance Masi, Richie Masi, Ryan Masi, and Kevin Viebrock. Memorials may be given to AL-ANON Family Group, FL Elks Charities and St. Anthony's Hospital Foundation in lieu of flowers.
