March 19th, 1979 - August 12th, 2012
Rudy Salazar, 33, of Evans, CO went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2012 at St. Mary Corwin Hospital in Pueblo, CO after suffering a massive heart attack. He was born March 19, 1979 in Greeley to Rodrigo "Rudy” and Catherine (Hernandez) Salazar. Rudy was an avid Denver Broncos and Nebraska Huskers fan. He was a happy fun loving and caring person who would take the shirt off his back for anyone. Rudy faithfully attended church. He will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by his parents, Rudy and Catherine; sister, Tammy (Efren) Alcantar; brother, Michael Salazar; grandmother, Rebecca; and his nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012 followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. all at Adamson Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 17, 2012 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 915 12th Street, Greeley. Interment will be at Linn Grove Cemetery.
