Russell Craig Mortensen

Russell "Craig" Mortensen 53 passed away April 7th, 2017 in Tucson, AZ. Craig was born at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Tucson AZ on May 10th 1963. He graduated from Palo Verde High School class of 1981 Craig really enjoyed watching Red Sox baseball and even took a trip to Boston with his younger brother Ben. He enjoyed going to Church, reading and listening to music especially The Beatles, Elton John and Country Music. And Last but not least he loved his Disney movies and anything to do with Disney. We as a family went to Disneyland on several occasions and he always insisted on taking the Disney tour. Craig is preceded in death by his mother Ann "Larson" Mortensen, His sister Denise Ann "Mortensen" Warchol. And his grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Larson and Mr. & Mrs. Wilson. Craig left behind his 3 children Melissa Anne Mortensen, Matthew Dennis Mortensen and Nickolas Ryan Mortensen and 3 precious grandchildren Keira Mortensen, Jocelyn Mortensen and Dominic Delgado. He also left his Dad Dennis Mortensen, his 2 brothers Michael (Patti) Mortensen and Benjamin (Alicia) Mortensen, and His Aunt Jeannine Nunez. Along with several Nieces and Nephews to include Evan (Kristen) Brown, Alexandra Mortensen, Kristofer Mortensen, Gabrielle Mortensen, Brandon(Anne) Wooten, Julianna Mortensen and Daniel Mortensen. And several great nieces and Nephews. And Last but not least his former wife and friend Lynne Mortensen. Services will be held on Saturday April 15th, 2017 At 1pm at Bring's Broadway Chapel at 6910 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson Az 85710, with a public viewing and in honor of Craig please wear his favorite color Royal Blue and come celebrate his life with his family with great music and pictures of Craig and his family.
