A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 10 at Emerald Bible Fellowship for Russell Parrish of Eugene, who died July 22 of glioblastoma. He was 77.He was born Aug. 28, 1934, in Nimrod, Minn., to Harry and Florence Anderson Parrish. He married Jeanne Worthley on Aug. 17, 1968, in Albany.He graduated from Springfield High School. He served in the Navy. He worked as a construction supervisor in telecommunications.Survivors include his wife; two sons, Stewart of Eugene and David of Portland; two daughters, Jennifer Saukko of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Jacquelyn Michaels of Eugene; two brothers, Gene of Selah, Wash., and Del of Eugene; two sisters, Ramona Svarverud of Portland and Lois Jordan of Springfield; and five grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove’s at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Eugene.
