Russell Y. Patrick

February 26th, 1932 - September 23rd, 2012

Russell passed away peacefully at home with his family on September 23, 2012 at the age of 80. He was born in Florence, Arizona on February 26, 1932 to Wilson Frederick and Edna Boyd Patrick. Growing up in a family of eight brothers and sisters, the family lived in Tennessee, Arizona and California before settling in Idaho around Parma and attended Notus Schools. Russell married Phyllis Glenn on July 3, 1953 and started a family of his own. They had two sons DeWayne and Michael and two daughters Lori and Tami. After many years of working in the valley for others he opened Idaho Trailers with his sons and son in law and sold trailer to many people and businesses around the Northwest. He retired in 2003 and lived with his wife in Middleton until his passing. He loved the outdoors and took his family on many hunting and fishing trips. He loved Idaho and could be found most summers camping at one of Idaho’s many lakes or streams with a fishing pole in his hands and his family around him. He is survived by his wife Phyllis, his two sons R. DeWayne Patrick (wife Diana), Michael Patrick (wife Kerrie) his daughters Lori Jones (husband Eldon), Tami Womack (husband Shane) and three sisters, Doris Gray, Martha Sawyer and Linda Leatherbery. He has 14 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at Flahiff Funeral Chapel at 624 Cleveland Blvd in Caldwell Idaho. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday the 26th. Interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening between 4-8 PM at Flahiff’s Funeral Chapel. He was a member at the Cloverdale Church of God and has now gone home to be with his Lord. Service Information
