Russ was an avid wood-worker and loved building furniture, but most importantly, loved spending time with his family. Russ will be lovingly missed by his wife of 34 years, Carole; Children, Steve (Jane) Wegner of Madison and JoRene' (Mike) Burdgick of Waukesha. He was the cherished "The Grandfather", of Trent (Fiancee' Gretta), Sierra Rose and McKenzie Burdgick, Sophia and Olivia Wegner. He is further survived by his brother-in-law, Dale (Debbie) Buss and sister-in-law, Mary Buss. He was loved by and will be remembered by many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Rodney, infant sister and brother-in-law, Carl Buss. The visitation for Russ will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 700 Beechwood Ave., Waukesha, WI. 53186, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Jason Hacker will be officiating. There will be a private family burial at Prairie Home Cemetery at a later date.
