Melbourne Florida Ruth B. Britton, 88, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 in Rockledge, Fl. Ruth was the tax collector for Manchester Township and retired after 27 years of service in 1984. She then moved to Florida where she resided until her death. Ruth was active in the V.F.W. auxiliary, Elks Lodge, and Manchester Township Republican Club. She is survived by her sons, Ralph and Charles Roberts; sister, Nora Smith and brother in law Alan Smith; seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends and family Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 9:00AM till 11:00AM at Anderson Campbell Funeral Home in Toms River, N.J. A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 11:30AM. at the Ocean County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of your choice.
