Ruth Elizabeth Hixon better known as "Liz" to her family and close friends passed away peacefully on November 8, 2013 at her Quail Lodge home in Santa Barbara, California. Ruth was born on May 14, 1917 in Hart, Michigan to Leslie and Edith Wyckoff. She was one of six children. Ruth met her beloved husband Hal Hixon in Detroit, and they were married on February 22, 1943 in Dallas, Texas. Ruth and Hal shared a fairytale marriage for over 50 years.
