June 15th, 1943 - October 11th, 2015
Ruth Alice Hyatt, 72, of Kingsport passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Johnson City Medical Center. Ruth is preceded in death her husband Roy Hyatt Sr.; son, Roy Hyatt Jr.; parents, J.C. and Georgia Crawford Mallett. She is survived by three daughters; Debbie Goode and husband John, Patricia "Susie" Hyatt, Tammy Gibson; 6 grandchildren, Will and Erika Goode, Lindsay Goode, Mitchell Gibson, Teddy Hyatt, John Allen Spitzer, Daniel Spitzer, and Justin Hyatt; 5 great-grandchildren Keithen and Killee Gibson, Isiah Gibson, Parker and William Johnson; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1pm to 3pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home 520 Watauga St. Kingsport, TN. A graveside service will follow at Old Kingsport Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Will Goode, Teddy Hyatt, Justin Hyatt, Terry Murdock, Justin Murdock, Cody Murdock. Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport is serving the Hyatt family.
