Ruth Trammell Roe, 87, widow of Douglas Will Roe, passed away, Thursday, January 2, 2020. Ruth was born July 8, 1932 to the late Otis and Fannie Smith Trammell in Casey County, KY. She was a waitress for thirty four years at F. W. Woolworth. Ruth was formally active in the Antiock Christian Church in Casey County. Ruth is survived by a daughter, Etta Eades, Lexington; a brother, Bill Trammell, Liberty; three grandchildren, Cindi Lindsay, Lexington, Sandra Browning (Andrew), Garrod County, and Brad Eades (Amanda), Ashville, NC; five great-grandchildren, Chris, Maddison, Morgan, Alisse and Hayden; and one great-great-grandchild, Trustin. Services will be private.
