Ruthanne Samperi
August 18th, 1938 - September 12th, 2014
Ruthanne Samperi, 76, passed away Friday, September 12th at Cape Canaveral Hospital. She was born in the Bronx, N.Y. where she graduated from N.Y. Foundling Nursing School and had worked as an oncology nurse for many years before moving to Cocoa Beach in 1993. Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents Grace and Bernard McConville and her son Scott McDonough in 2005. She is survived by her husband of 37 wonderful years Richard, daughters and best friends Suzanne McDonough and Rosanna Flannigan; a sister, Grace O’Connell and niece Maureen O’Connell; a granddaughter, Diane Joyce Woods; a grandson Christopher James Flannigan; great grandson Parker Scott Woods and other loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 -4 P.M. Thursday with services at 4 P.M. at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children Hospital .
