Mr. Ryan James Elliot Burton, age 29, of Gloversville, passed away suddenly on Saturday June 27, 2020 in Gloversville. He was born August 19, 1990 in Gloversville, the son of Kenneth and Christen Roman Burton. Ryan was employed as a Roofer by Mike Peters Contractors, of Gloversville. Ryan was a loving father to his children. He often enjoyed being outside, fishing, playing video games and cooking for his family and friends. He was especially known for his homemade Empanadas. Ryan is survived by his mother Christen Burton (Robert Woodcock); his father Kenneth Burton; his maternal grandmother Connie Carter; his fiancé Melissa Fleming; his children, Aryonna Lott, Ashton and Abygail Burton and Gavin and Izabella Fleming; his sisters, Nicole Yager (Jared) and Autumn Burton; his brother Kyle Burton (Lorrie); along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. He was predeceased by his grandparent Kenneth R. and Kathryn Burton; along with two uncles, Kenneth and Lyle Burton. Due to Covid-19, there will be no formal calling hours or funeral service. A private celebration of life will take place at the convenience of the family. Private interment will take place at Edinburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Addictions Care Center of Albany, Inc. 90 McCarty Avenue, Albany, NY 12202.
