Ryan Matthew Cromer
May 3rd, 2002 - April 3rd, 2022
Ryan Matthew Cromer passed away on April 3, 2022, in Jackson, CA at the age of 19. He was born in Stockton, CA on May 3, 2002, to Kristine Lundgren-Augello and the late Ronald Cromer. Ryan lived in Jackson most of his life and loved the time he spent with the family on the ranch. He was active in Grange, Future Farmers of America (FFA), and the American Boer Goat Association (ABGA). He competed all over California and various other states at shows and fairs with his Boer goats and won many awards. In 2021, one of his greatest achievements was traveling to Indianapolis to be awarded FFA's top honor, the American Degree. He enjoyed his time at Argonaut High School, especially under the leadership of the FFA advisor, Angela Mayfield. He played baseball and golf while at Argonaut and was very disappointed that he could not compete in sports or FFA events his senior year due to Covid restrictions. Ryan loved traveling and was able to see many different parts of the world during his short time here. Ryan was sociable and outgoing all throughout childhood and high school. He was a compassionate young man and cared deeply for others. He never hesitated to help a friend in need. If you were down, Ryan was right there to lift you up. Ryan was a blessing to those who knew him and those who had the honor of being touched by his kindness. He volunteered for several years at the Faith Lutheran Summer Day Camp as a Youth Counselor and was a favorite among the staff and kids. One of his favorite pastimes was cracking jokes and making people laugh. Ryan leaves behind a large and loving family. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his mother, Kristine (Tom) Augello; two uncles, Mark (Jen) Lundgren and Garrett (Mylah) Ehrhardt; aunt, Claudia (David) Carey; two grandfathers, Dave Ehrhardt and Mark (Cindy) Lundgren Sr,; two great grandmothers, Carole (Jim) Marz, Arlene Lucke Shofner; three great aunts, Lisa (Robert) Fischer, Tina (Tim) Gorman, Jodi (Art) Tressler; great uncle, Dana Baker; cousins, Arianna, JJ, Archer to name a few; and his two step brothers, Joe and Nick. He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Cromer, two grandmothers, Vicky Ehrhardt and Louise Cromer and grandfather, Wendel Cromer.
