Ryan Andrew Dodge

Ryan Andrew Dodge transitioned out of the physical world on July 7th, 2024 in Boulder, Colorado. He was 34 years old. Born on April 20th, 1990 in Denver, Colorado, he had a love for music in all its forms and played multiple instruments including guitar, drums, piano, banjo, bass, and the mandolin, to name a few. He was an avid reader with a special love for the “Ender’s Game” and “The Lord of the Rings” series. He loved being outdoors and began skiing at a young age, eventually becoming a member of the Junior Ski Patrol at Winder Park in high school and then working in the ski industry all of his adult life. Following in his father Gary’s footsteps, he was also highly involved in Boy Scouts and became an Eagle Scout at age 18.  He also shared his parents’ love for racing cars and participated in multiple events with Porsche Club of America. He spent the majority of his free time skiing, skateboarding, camping, playing music, and being out in nature. He is survived by his mother Luann, sister Brigid (Darin Eggold), uncle Paul Trottnow (Gayle), cousins Colin Trottnow (Heather Miller) and Susan Tompsen (Chad), as well as a large chosen family. His family and friends are unfortunately unable to honor his final wish of dressing him in a Superman costume and throwing him out of a plane. Services will be help at St Andrew’s United Methodist church on Thursday July 25th at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Liver Foundation at liverfoundation.org.
