Versailles – Ryan Douglas Hughes, 40, husband of Stephanie Hughes, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021. He was born in Bryan, Texas on October 13, 1980 to Kirk Hughes and Diane (Jean French) Dieter. He was previously a manager of Thornton's, where he gave 15 years of service to his community. Ryan was a self proclaimed Super Nerd and loved all things Marvel. He was very intelligent and was always educating others and himself. He loved having fun and being the center of attention with his boisterous personality. In addition to his wife he adored beyond words and parents, he is survived by his paternal grandfather, John Hughes, PA; his sisters, Kathryn (Jesse) Hughes, TXX, Allyson (Chris) Hughes, TX, Shannon (Kevin) Visbal, Georgetown, Kathy (Roy) Mason, TX, and Kelly (Cameron) Henderson, Winchester; his brothers, Meritt Hughes, Versailles, Bobby (Julie) Pedrami, TX, and Steven Rosinko, Lexington; his 5 pugs, Nova, Nebula, Loki, Yuki, and Shuri; his 21 nieces and nephews; as well as several aunts and uncles that he held in the highest regard. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Jim and Barbara Dieter, paternal grandmother, Edith Joyce Hughes, and an aunt Karen Hughes. Visitation will be held from 3:00pm until 9:00pm on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stan Lee Foundation or the Bluegrass Pug Rescue. Online condolences may be expressed at www.ClarkLegacyCenter.com.
