Ryan Anthony Montoya

Ryan Anthony Montoya died unexpectedly at the age of 32, at his home in Rio Rancho on November 23, 2016. Ryan is survived by his parents Donna Gurule and Anthony Montoya of Cuba, New Mexico; his children Adaya, and Jeremiah; his grandmother Rafaelita (Fela) Montoya; his brothers Isaac and BJ Montoya; nephews Jose and Antonio and Annalisa; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandfather Bonifacio Montoya; and his grandparents Lucy and Aparcio Gurule. Ryan was born on April 7, 1984 in Cuba, New Mexico. He was a graduate of the class of 2002 from Cuba High School. He worked with the US Forest Service and was a member of the "New Mexico Hot Shots" firefighting crew. He was a devoted father who took care of his children, the loves of his life. Ryan enjoyed the outdoors and liked camping, and hunting. He loved riding his motorcycle and spent much time on the open road. He was a kind, caring man who always did his best for his friends and family. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. A Rosary will be recited on November 28, 2016 at 7:00 PM, with Funeral Services and a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on November 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Cuba New Mexico.
