Ryan Sutherland, 39, passed away on Wednesday November 30, 2022. Ryan was born in Lexington on January 2. 1983 to Joy Martin Sutherland and the late Steven Wayne Sutherland. He was a 2001 graduate of Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School and attended Bethel Christian Church. Ryan loved playing basketball, watching sports, listening to music and playing with his dog, Brody. Ryan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Eugene and Virginia Sutherland, maternal grandparents George and Clara Martin. uncles, Bill Little of Tennessee, George Martin, Wayne Martin, Roger Martin, and aunt, Connie Martin all of Lexington. In addition to his mother, Joy Sutherland, survivors include his fiancé, Jessica Helton, and her sons Noah Bentley and Colin: Uncles, Tony Martin, Jerry Martin (Connie). Aunts, Mertie Carrier (Harold) Freda Little, Sharon Martin, Tommie Martin, Lydia Martin, and Linda Sutherland., including a large contingent of cousins and friends. A Gathering of family and friends will be held on December 5, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing from 4:00PM to 6:00PM
