May 7th, 1943 - January 11th, 2024
Sally Jean (loving mom and sister,) born to Joe I. and Susana Chavez-Marez in Albuquerque, NM on May 7, 1943, went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2024, at the age of 80. Sally joined the U.S Marine Corp. after high school where she met her husband David Bennett and raised 3 boys. Sally is survived by one son (Chris,) and one brother (Joe T. Mares and wife Bennie.) She also had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Sally worked for many years at Sivage Homes, Pulte Homes, and Aspen Concrete. Sally was preceded in death by her mother (Susana), father (Joe I.), her husband David, and her sons (David Allen and Robert.) A celebration of life will be held on February 14, 2024, 2-4 PM, at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87108. Interment to follow at a later date.
