Sally Elizabeth Scales, 72, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 5, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in the Garden of Memories in her hometown of Sikeston, Missouri on Friday, July 8, 2:00pm. Ponder Funeral Home will have charge over the arrangements in Missouri. Sally was born November 1, 1949 in Sikeston, Missouri to the late Jewell and Delores Crawford. She retired after forty years from Civil Service on Robins Air Force Base. Sally was an avid golfer and a stained glass artist. She also enjoyed needle point, crocheting, and visiting Daytona Beach. Sally was a very outgoing individual and loved everyone. She fought a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis alongside her family and friends who encouraged her. She was a loving wife, sister, and aunt and she will be missed by everyone who knew her. Sally is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Charles Scales; sister, Suzanne Rennier; nephews: Todd Decker and Jimmie Scales; niece, Vicky Downing; special cousins: Kathy (Van) Rudolph, Dianne Brown, Robert (Sally) Husher, Barbara (Bob) Taylor, and Terry (Dan) Reside; sister-in-law, Betty (Mike) Lagree; several extended family members and countless friends.
