Sally Ann Willadsen
June 13th, 1946 - February 23rd, 2016
Sally Ann Willadsen passed away February 23, 2016 at the Paradise Hospice House, she was 69 years old. Born in Whittier, CA, to Betty June and Col. William H. Davidson. She grew up in a military family, living many places in the US and Japan. Finally making her way to Chico in 1983 where she met the love of her life, husband, Ron Willadsen, at a singles square dance club. Sally was an inspiration to Ron's daughter Shanon, a wonderful daughter, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother and best friend to many. She was employed at Lifetouch for 23 years, retiring in 2015. In her younger years she crafted stained glass windows still displayed in homes in Chico and San Francisco. In the early 1980's she taught at the last one room school in CA. Sally loved her home in Butte Creek Canyon that she shared with Ron for 25 years. She volunteered as a docent at the Colman Museum and as the bingo caller at the Terraces. Sally leaves behind her husband Ron, daughter Shanon (Dale) Frasier, grandchildren Natasha, Jorden, Julie, Dale Jr. and Trinity. Her mother Betty Davidson, sisters Susie (Gene) Bruns, Diane (Michael) Smith, Patti Davidson (Tommy Hicks). Ron's brothers Stan, Paul (Gwen), Phil (Wanda), mother Kathryn Willadsen and many nephews, nieces, cousins and other family members. A memorial service will be held March 12 at 1pm at Brusie Funeral Home in Chico. Following will be an informal celebration of Sally's life in the Shasta Room at the Terraces.
