Sammie Lou Watson, 78, of Wimauma, Fla passed away April 3, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior. Survivors include three children, Julie (Ken) Browning, Elaine (Zeno) Tharp and Jerry (Kathy) Watson, six grandchildren, Patrick Lamkin, Mitchell and Mark Tharp, Joshua, Jason and Julia Watson, three great grandchildren, J.J., Haley and Owen Watson, three brothers, Hilton (Lucille) Purvis, Alfred Lee and Tillman Purvis, and two sisters, Dorothy Mae Taylor and Alice Burch. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the Wimauma Church of God, Wimauma, Fla. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2011 at the Wimauma Church of God, 5504 State Road 674, Wimauma, Fla. Burial Fellowship Cemetery, Lithia, Fla.
