Funeral Alternatives of Washington - Tumwater
Samson W. Davis
June 15th, 1968 - September 30th, 2016
Samson W. Davis passed away September 30, 2016, in Olympia, Washington. Heaven received a son, a brother, a father, a best friend, a comedian, a husband, “The Computer Guy” and so much more. He was always smiling and, when he joined a room, a sense of mischief was evident. He was known by so many, recognized everywhere he went; he made his mark. Samson was born June 15, 1968 to John Henry and Victoria Sharifa Davis in Karachi, Pakistan. He graduated from Olympia High School in 1987, received an AA degree from South Puget Sound Community College in 1990, and studied Literature at Pacific Lutheran University until 1993. He served in the Army National Guard for eight years. During his lifetime, he also lived in Bellingham, Quincy, and Moses Lake, Washington. Samson married Nicole L. Seals on July 16, 1994 in Shelton, Washington. He was the owner of Puget Sound PC from April 2001 to the date of his passing. He was everyone’s favorite computer guy. In his younger years, he worked as a Jiffy Lube technician. Sarcasm was Samson’s first language and people enjoyed it. Samson loved the online World of Warcraft, Atari video games, and Ms. Pacman. He also loved DC and Marvel comics, his favorites being Superman and Captain America. He was a connoisseur of cartoons, specializing in Voltran, Transformers, and Dragon Ball. He was passionate about all things ‘80s and ‘90s, including music such as AC/DC, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Cher, Beach Boys, Bob Seger, Bette Midler, and Rammstein. He also enjoyed watching and reminiscing about movies of all genres. Samson is survived by his wife, Nicole L. Davis; daughters, Samantha Davis and Sharifa Davis; father, John Davis; brothers, Samuel Davis and Thomas Davis; and sisters, Mary Davis Clayton, Sharon Davis, Pamela Davis, Kathleen Davis, Kate Davis, Lora Davis, and Charlotte Davis. He was predeceased by his mother, Victoria Davis; and his brother, Thomas Davis. This world lost an amazing man. He is in heaven smirking down on us. We weren’t ready for him to go and we will meet him again at heavens gates! Until we meet again. Please leave memories of Samson or condolences for his family in the Guestbook below.
