Samuel L. Banda Sr. was born on June 27, 1947 to Cresencia and Jose Antonio Banda Sr. in Hargill, TX and he was reunited with God and the loved ones that have left before him on June 2, 2013. In 1965 Dad met the love of his life San Juana Banda and married on August 8, 1966, they have been married 46 years. They made their home in Notus where they had their children. They were blessed with five children and raised six; Jose Antonio Banda, Samuel Banda Jr., David Banda, Belinda (Fred) Cuellar, Irene (Danny) Prieto and Albert L. Banda. Dad also had 6 siblings; Rudy, Frank, Blanca, Elena, Danny and Joe. He also has numerous cousins. Dad was a jack of all trades and master of none but enjoyed farming with Brock Farms. Dad loved music especially playing his drums and guitar in the garage or anywhere he could. Dad mostly loved, enjoyed and appreciated his family. Within his family he loved his 23 grandchildren; Samantha, Ollyvia, Angelica, Celeste, Ashlee, Stephanie, Anthony, Emilio, Mercedes, David, Chelsea, Jasmine, Andrea, Adam, Josephyna, Wyatt, Emiliana, Aiyana, Emario, Michelle, David, Ariel, and Freddy. He also has 9 great-grandchildren with one on the way. Dad was preceded in death by his two sons-David and Albert, granddaughter Josephyna, brother Francisco, parents Cresencia and Jose Antonio Banda Sr. and Francisco Molina. A viewing for Samuel will be held June 6, 2013 at Our Lady of the Valley, Catholic Church from 5:00 – 8:00 PM with rosary recitation at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held June 7, 2013 at Our Lady of the Valley, Catholic Church, Caldwell, ID at 2:00 PM. Services are under the care of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Burial will follow at Lower Boise Cemetery, Parma, ID. Condolences may be given at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com. Service Information
