Samuel “Sammy” Rudolph Catrett passed away on Saturday November 20, 2021. Born to Otis Catrett and Enid (Padget) Anderson on August 31, 1950. Sam was a former Marine and a retired machinist.He is survived by his wife Wynell Catrett, daughter Sandra Gallardo and son Allen Catrett. Sam has five granddaughters Cheyenne Gallardo, Makayla Gallardo, Sarah Catrett, Denise Catrett and Samantha Catrett and one great grandson Ayven Sumner. He is also survived by his siblings Edward Catrett, Linda Skaggs, Sylvia Anderson and step brothers and sisters Tami Corbin, Rod Catrett, Richard Anderson, Rodger Anderson and Debra Ponieski. Samuel is also survived by several nieces and nephews he loved dearly. Sam never met a person he didn’t like. He loved to talk about as much as he loved to fish. He loved music and the Dallas Cowboys. No matter how many times they lost, he was a true fan. He was a proud marine who loved his family deeply. He had a kind heart and tried his best to show it. His family has prepared a small private memorial for him on December 5, 2021. Sam will be greatly missed by so many.
