Samuel Henry Clymer
August 24th, 1918 - August 5th, 2013
Lt. Col. Samuel H. Clymer passed away on Monday August 5th 2013, at his home in Melbourne Florida. His family was in attendance. Spanning nearly a century, Sam witnessed and participated in the major events of the 20th century. A D-Day Veteran, proud of his contribution to the armed services, and a second career spent with NASA's Apollo program, placing a man on the moon. Beloved by his wife, Yvonne, his four children, grandfather to six, and great grandfather to five and friend to countless others. Survived by his brother Charles (Jean). He will be missed with all our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Vitas Hospice of Melbourne.
