Samuel Milner Manson
March 24th, 1954 - April 27th, 2019
Samuel M. Manson, 65, of Cocoa, FL passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019. He was the husband of Jaqueline Wallace Manson for twenty-six years and the son of the late Thomas Manson and Ava Bellah Manson. He was born in San Francisco on March 25, 1954 and grew up in Texas and New Jersey. He was adventurous and wanted to see the world. Sam joined the Army to pursue his love of music and played the French Horn in the Army’s third division band. After his military service he traveled extensively through Germany before returning to the United States managing clubs and restaurants in Las Vegas. Sam settled in Cocoa and worked for Panther Airboats for thirty-two years. He is well known and loved in the airboat community. Anyone whom had the pleasure of knowing Sam knows the joy he brought to those around him. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and customers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Glen Manson, Donald Manson and James Manson. Survivors include his wife, stepsons, Jason (Crystal) Pancoast and Christopher (Dawnell) Pancoast, Jr., stepdaughter Deanna (Chris) Jones, brother Dennis (Mary-Clare) Manson, Sister Bobbie Bradsher, six grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11th at noon at the Community Woman’s Club in Cocoa Village which will be immediately followed by a reception.
