POLK CITY - Mr. Sam Pace, age 46 of Polk City passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in Auburndale after a short but courageous fight with cancer. Sam grew up in this area and was a machinist with Kik Custom Products. He graduated from Auburndale High School in 1984 and enjoyed Nascar, off road racing and hunting. Sam is survived by his wife, Gail Pace of Polk City, his parents, Donald and Lois Pace of Auburndale, 2 stepsons, Shawn and Craig Bloomfield, stepdaughter, Jennifer Bloomfield a brother, Scott (Elizabeth) Pace of Polk City and 5 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 AM at the Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Those so desiring may make donations to Good Shepherd Hospice 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, Fl. 33823.
