Sandra "Sandy" Mavis Anthis-Brenton

Sandra Mavis Anthis-Brenton Sandra (Sandy) Anthis-Brenton was called to her heavenly home on March 31, 2023.Sandy was born on May 3, 1943 in Brisbane Australia to her loving parents Laurel and Norman. Sandy moved to America in 1946 when she was 3 years old with her mother, father, and younger brother. She lived in a few different states including California and Texas before her family settled in Tucson, AZ where they called home in 1949. Sandy dedicated her life to raising her children while working a few jobs in between. When she was 47 years old she started working as Chaparral College’s book keeper as well as obtaining her Associates degree in accounting. She was able to retire early from Chaparral College at the age of 62 years old. She then got to travel the U.S. and check many things off of her bucket list. Sandy is survived by her brothers Barry (Tammy), Mark (Stacy), Brad (Denise), and her sister Bonnie as well as 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is now reunited with those who preceded her in death: her parents, her 3 children (Kenneth, Lisa, and Sheryl) and her other loved ones who have passed on. Her surviving family will make sure her legacy and beautiful soul live on and are remembered daily.
